Bind is one of Viper’s better maps, with some very solid lineups for her snake bite, as well as many good one way smokes that she can utilize. The Viper Bind lineups below will include snake bites lineups for default plants on both sites, as well as many other decent ones that can be used for common spots that players sit. Learning the proper timing for Viper’s snake bite is also necessary for doing optimal damage to enemies.
Snake Bite Lineup for Default Plant on B-Site:
This Viper Bind lineup is very nice for preventing enemies from defusing the spike and can stall for an additional many seconds to win the round. The lineup itself is shot from long and is relatively easy to remember once you do it for the first time. It’s worth noting that you can go back up B-Long or into B-Hookah to continue defending the spike.
Snake Bite Lineup for Default Plant on A-Site:
The next Viper Bind lineup is for the default plant position on A-Site, as seen in the video above. This lineup can be fired from A-Lobby, which is relatively easy to get to after planting the spike as long as you are cautious of your flanks. Remember that you have two snake bites, allowing you to stall for an extended period of time when done correctly.
Snake Bite Lineup for U-Haul:
This Viper Bind lineup can also be fired from A-Lobby and allows you to put pressure on enemies playing inside of U-Haul. This lineup is especially good if your team wants to go fast A-Site, and you know an enemy likes to play in U-Haul. Let your team know that you’re doing this lineup, as they can also run into your snake bite if they aren’t aware.
Snake Bite Lineup for Back of A-Site:
The Viper Bind lineup shown above is for behind Truck on A-Site and allows you to force enemies out from behind the back of the site. This is also a lineup you will want to do as your team is running up onto A-Site, as this forces any enemies behind Truck to reposition as your team gets the spike down.
Snake Bite Lineup for Back of B-Site (Viper Bind):
This Viper Bind lineup is for the back of B-Site and is very good for forcing enemies there to fight or run away. Sitting in the back of B-Site is very common on Bind, especially if the enemy team has a Killjoy or Cypher playing there. Use this lineup from B-Hookah when your team is ready to push in from both B-Long and B-Hookah.
Snake Bite Lineup for Stopping B-Site Default Plant:
This Viper Bind snake bite can be used when rotating from A-Site to B-Site to stop the enemy’s spike plant. The lineup itself is shot from CT and is done from the corner shown in the video above. Keep in mind that even if the enemies have already planted, you can still use this lineup to force players out of the corner where they planted.
Snake Bite Lineup for Stopping A-Site Default Plant:
This Viper Bind lineup is for denying the enemy spike plant in order to give your team a little extra time to position. Be cautious of enemy players pushing you, as this lineup puts you in a slightly vulnerable position. It’s also worth noting that you can have someone defend for you from A-Heaven or from CT-Spawn.
Snake Bite Lineup for A-Short/A-Cubby (Viper Bind):
This Viper Bind lineup is great for defending A-Site and stopping/slowing down an enemy push from A-Short. The lineup itself can be shot from the back of A-Site and lands right near A-Cubby and where they would be running out from A-Short. Peak A-Short with a teammate playing inside of U-Haul to easily kill vulnerable opponents.
Viper has some snake bite lineups on both Bind defense and attack to help make your opponents vulnerable and kill them. Remember that good communication is always important with using lineups, especially the ones that you use on your team’s planted spike. The best lineups of the ones above to memorize are the ones that are for the default plant spots on both sites. Memorize these lineups as well as her other abilities and begin to master Viper in competitive!
