Haven is the only map in Valorant with three sites, making it very unique. This also means there is more shock dart potential for Sova players. Both A-Site and C-Site are very good for shock darts, as they are completely wide open. B-Site is closed, but also has some potential when it comes to shock darts. Learn a few of the lineups below and begin to master Sova on Haven!
Shock Darts for Haven Defense:
Default Plant on A-Site from A-Link (No Bounces and One Charge):
This shock dart can be very useful for damaging an enemy spike planter on A-Site. To begin, walk onto the ping as seen above and face toward A-Site.
This dart will land in the most common default plant spot on A-Site, damaging the spike planter. Keep in mind this shock dart can also be shot twice or combined with another one to potentially kill the spike planter.
Default Plant on A-Site from B-Site (Two Bounces and Three Charges):
This shock dart is also for default plant on A-Site, but is instead shot from B-Site and takes a bit longer to land. Enemies walking up toward A-Site will have a harder time hearing this dart before it’s too late.
Directly under the bell above B-Site there are five lines coming down. Place your crosshair slightly down and to the right from the third line. Release the shock dart with two bounces and three charges.
Again this dart will land very nicely onto the default plant position on A-Site, but this time with a slightly delayed landing. Remember that combining this dart with a faster-landing one can result in an insta-kill.
Default Plant on C-Site from C-Link (No Bounces and One Charge):
This arrow is very similar to the first one, but is instead for the default plant spot on C-Site. Walk into the corner as seen above and face toward C-Site.
Look up toward the sky and place the left part of you HUD on the wooden beam as seen in the image above. Release the dart with no bounces and one charge.
Both the spike planter and any other enemies that are playing behind the box in the middle of C-Site will be damaged and potentially killed. Combining your ultimate with your other abilities can also be very deadly here.
Shock Darts for Haven Attack:
Back of A-Site from A-Long (No Bounces and Two Charges):
Look up and place the indent in the roof in the middle of the second diamond of Sova’s HUD. Release the arrow with no bounces and two charges.
When using this dart, you can also let pushing teammates know beforehand to make sure you secure the pick.
Back of C-Site from C-Long (No Bounces and Two Charges):
This shock dart is for the back of C-Site and can be very good for killing an enemy with an Operator. To begin, walk into the corner as seen above in C-Long.
Place your crosshair directly in the middle of the circular looking gap in the trees as seen above. Release the shock dart with no bounces and two charges.
This arrow is especially good against enemies that you know are relatively passive and don’t often peak. Keep in mind you can also recon dart the back of C-Site before using this shock dart.
Default Plant for Post-Plant from A-Long (No Bounces and Two Charges):
After planting on A-Site, it’s good to have lineups ready for when the enemies start defusing. This is especially good if your teammates begin to die and you become the last player alive.
Place the first third of your charge bar inside of the wires as seen in the image above. Release the shock dart with no bounces and two charges.
Default Plant for Post-Plant from C-Cubby (No Bounces and No Charges):
This shock dart is a very quick and easy one to shoot that can be done from C-Cubby. The only down-side to this spot is that enemies can push you fairly easily if you’re the last player alive.
Place your entire charge bar along the roof of the building directly in front of you. You can also move your crosshair slightly to the left or right if your team didn’t plant for default. Release the shock dart with no bounces and no charges.
This dart also lands very quickly since it requires no bounces or charges, allowing you to force enemies off the spike fast. Use both of your shock darts in a way that can stall for time and damage enemies.
Bonus Recon Darts for Haven:
Recon Dart for A-Site from A-Link (No Bounces and Three Charges):
This is one of the best recon darts for retaking A-Site with your team, as it lands in a spot that will reveal many locations. Walk into the corner as seen above to begin.
Place your crosshair slightly above the corner of the roof seen in the red rectangle above. This dart might take a few tries to get down, but isn’t too bad and is definitely worth it!
The recon dart should land on the corner of the roof, revealing multiple crucial areas for your team to be able to retake with. It’s important to realize that this arrow does not reveal hell and other corners around A-Site.

Haven is a very unique map compared to most others, giving Sova a slight advantage due to there being two very open sites. Utilize the default plant shock darts for A-Site and C-Site whenever possible, potentially giving your team a free kill before retaking together. Also practice using the post-plant lineups on attack to help secure extra rounds. Ultimately, remember that being creative with all of Sova’s abilities is what will allow you to climb.
