Valorant – #1 Best Jett Updraft Spots on Bind and Split

92 / 100

Overview:

Jett Agent

Jett has many cool and very powerful abilities, making her one of the best duelists in Valorant. She is my personal favorite agent, meaning I also have quite a bit of insight when it comes to playing her. Keep in mind that there are many other updraft spots that will be shown below, as these are the spots that I have learned while playing in higher-ranked games. Updraft spots will also be grouped by maps if you’re looking for spots on a specific map.

Multiple Ways to Use Jett’s Updraft and Tips:

When using Jett updraft, there are a few things you will want to keep in mind. The main thing is that when enemies hear the sound of an updraft, they will most likely expect you to be on high-ground. You can use this to your advantage when clutching rounds to throw enemies off.

Another thing to keep in mind is that you can use Jett updraft in combination with her ultimate. This might be a bit harder for newer players to master, but it’s good to know that you can combine the two. After using updraft to reach the peak height, you can either right-click or left-click to potentially kill an enemy very quickly. Most enemies will not have the reaction time to kill you before you fall back down.

Lastly, keep in mind that you can the most height out of Jett updraft when you jump right before using it. This is good to ensure you don’t waste this ability on accident.

Jett Updraft Spots on Bind:

Jett Updraft on A-Truck from A-Site:

This is a common updraft for Jett players to use, as it can be done before the round even starts and gives you the high-ground advantage. Keep in mind that players can hear your updraft

Jett Updraft on A-Truck from A-Site

You can see all of A-Short as well as part of A-Showers from this position. Be careful, as you are also very exposed to anyone that peaks you.

Jett Updraft for A-Short from U-Haul:

This is another Jett updraft that can be very good for surprising enemies that want to walk into A-Short. Either a rifle, Operator, or Jett’s ultimate is best, as this is a slightly longer distance to hold as Jett. Also, remember that enemies will start to expect you here if you use it frequently.

When holding this angle, keep in mind that enemies can come from either side, potentially putting you in a bad position. If you get overwhelmed, remember to use your tailwind ability to exit to your left or right.

Jett Updraft for Outside A-Showers from A-Site:

Last but certainly not least for A-Site is the corner as seen in the image above. Some enemy players will clear this corner, but it can be very good for eco rounds where you have nothing to lose.

Jett Updraft for Outside A-Showers from A-Site

If enemies in A-Showers make some noise, let your team know that there are players in there that could potentially peak out. When playing this position, it’s pretty important that a teammate watches your A-Short as you are very vulnerable.

There are a few other boost spots for A-Site, but the ones above are definitely the best and most used spots.

Jett Updraft for B-Site Control from B-Garden:

Jett Updraft for B-Site Control from B-Garden

This Jett updraft spot is best when attacking, but can also be used to defend B-Site. When boosting up onto this spot, you will have a very nice view into the Defender’s spawn as well as into B-Elbow.

Jett Updraft for B-Site Control from B-Garden

Enemies peaking from CT will likely not be looking/aiming at this spot at first, giving you a free chance to kill them with a Vandal or Jett’s ultimate. Dashing away to your right will put you into a very nice defensive spot in B-Garden.

There is also a box in the middle of B-Site that you can boost onto, but any agent can jump onto it from the middle crate.

Jett Updraft for B-Long from Defender’s Spawn (Blade Storm Updraft):

Enemies holding an angle from B-Long will be in your vision when using this updraft. You will need to updraft from the top part of the ramp that is closer to B-Site to get the necessary height needed.

Jett Updraft Spots on Split:

Jett Updraft for A-Rafters from A-Lobby (Blade Storm Updraft):

This is a very nice aggressive Jett updraft for picking enemies that are watching A-Main from A-Rafters. You will also be able to spot enemy players that are pushing up into A-Main.

It’s worth noting that you will need to use both of your Updrafts to be able to reach the height necessary for this spot. Also beware of using this spot multiple times in a row, as enemies will likely begin to wait for you.

Jett Updraft for A-Main Boost:

Jett Updraft for A-Main Boost

The boost spot in A-Main is a very solid place to sit if your team plans to leave and rotate to B-Site. Enemies don’t often check this spot unless they hear the updraft sound.

You can also aggressively peak toward A-Site and some of A-Screens. This is also a good spot to dash and updraft onto A-Rafters from. However, make sure to let your team know before doing that, as it makes you very vulnerable from many angles.

Jett Updraft for Peaking A-Lobby from A-Heaven:

Jett Updraft for Peaking A-Lobby from A-Heaven

When defending A-Site from A-Heaven, this is a good strategy that allows you to see if multiple enemies are pushing into A-Main early into a round. You can either do this with your ultimate or just for vision and information.

If no enemies can be seen or heard, then it’s likely that they are starting on another side of the map. This doesn’t mean that everyone on your team should leave A-Site, but it does mean that you should probably only have one player defending site.

Jett Updraft for B-Site Corner:

Jett Updraft for B-Site Corner

This corner is very similar to the A-Site corner on Bind and can be very good for getting a few early picks when enemies fast-push B-Site. Be cautious, as enemies sometimes check this when pushing out from B-Main.

Keep in mind that you are vulnerable to B-Heaven, which means it’s important to have a teammate play there if you want to sit in this spot. It’s also a good idea to try playing a crossfire with a teammate from B-Heaven if it sounds like they are coming fast B-Site.

Conclusion:

Jett is a very powerful duelist, with the potential to surprise her opponents in many different ways. Learning good spots to updraft is one of the ways to outplay your opponents. Not only can you use Jett updraft in combination with her blade storm, but you can also use updraft to get information that no other agent in Valorant can get! Remember that, as always, communication and not being too predictable are also equally as important when trying to improve and master an agent.
